The
greatest asset that any-one can have is sound health. Sound health is more
important that financial & material wealth. It is said that health is
wealth. A wealthy person is definitely a healthy person. Health is life as a person’s
life becomes miserable & useless without sound health.

defined by the World Health Organization, health is a “state of complete
physical, mental, & social well-being & not merely the absence of
disease or infirmity”. Health is a state of being free from illness or injury.
Poverty
which is a state where an individual can’t afford the basic necessities of life
is a terrible condition that can befall any-body but let me let you know that
the lack or the loss of sound health is even a much worse unpleasant scenario
than poverty. When you lack or lose sound health your life is going to become
meaningless, miserable, & frustrating. The lack or loss of sound health is
much more terrible & frustrating than poverty.

is said to be wealth because even though money might be able to enhance health,
money can’t purchase sound health because there are diseases that no amount of
money can cure or even alleviate. Late President Umaru Yar’Adua of Nigeria
would have been alive today if money could buy sound health & cure his
infirmity as he was rich enough to afford the best doctor & hospital in the
world. No fee would have been too great for him to pay to acquire good health
but it was not available.
A healthy man who is financially & materially poor is actually a wealthy man but a
wealthy man who is lacking sound health is actually a poor man. Late Umaru
Yar’Adua of Nigeria would gladly have exchanged his wealth for sound health if
it was possible. Sound health makes a poor man look like a wealthy man but bad
health can actually a disfigure rich man & make him undesirable &
unpresentable.

is life because an individual who lacks sound health or who is living in
sickness has become nothing but a moving corpse. It will get to a point where
such a person will become so frustrated with life that he is going to pray for
death to take him away. Sound health is a treasure that should be cherished,
preserved, & handled with care when you have it. Don’t personally destroy
your health & your life in the process by your negative habits, actions
& lifestyle like the late king of pop music Michael Jackson did. If you
want to really appreciate the value of sound health that you possess pay a
visit to any General hospital or University Teaching hospital that is close to
you.
