Prostate enlargement is a problem that is common to men that are over 50 years of age. A man's prostate gland starts to enlarge when he gets to the age of 40. This is  call Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia or Prostate Enlargement. The prostate gland serves a fertility function and it surrounds the urethra the tube that carries urine from the bladder and discharges it through the tip of penis. The prostate may press on the urethra as it enlarges causing the urethra to become narrower. Role Objective
