Nigeria Crashes Out of Gabon 2017 African Cup of Nations

The Super Eagles of Nigeria today crashed out of the 2017 African cup of nations to be hosted in Gabon with a game to spare in the qualifying series after losing by a 1-0 scoreline to the Egyptian Pharaohs in a must win game. The Eagles came into the game knowing that nothing short of a victory will put them in pole position to qualify for the event after drawing the first leg 1-1 in Kaduna on Friday & lagging behind the Egyptians by two points. The only goal of the encounter was scored by Ramadan Sobhy of Egypt in the 65_th minute.
